Term Detective reads the terms, privacy policies, DPAs, and subprocessor lists behind the AI and SaaS tools your team uses. Get answers to the questions that matter, with a direct quote from the vendor's terms, and get notified when the answer changes.

Brightnote Terms of Service, section 7.3

7.3 Use of Customer Content. We process Customer Content to provide, secure, and support the Services, and may use aggregated usage information to operate and improve them. Customer Content submitted under a Free plan may be used to train and improve our machine learning models. Free plan administrators may opt out in Workspace Settings. Nothing in this Section limits our obligations under the Data Processing Addendum.

Do people at the vendor read it?

How long do they keep it?

Retention for content, deleted data, and logs, where stated.

Who else touches it?

Every subprocessor, and every addition or removal.

Where does it live?

Hosting regions and data residency options.

How much warning do we get?

The notice a vendor promises before its terms or subprocessors change.
