Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use Term Detective, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control, screen magnifiers, or other assistive technology.
What we have done
- Reviewed our pages with automated checking tools and by hand against WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
- Added a skip link, page landmarks, descriptive page titles, a language setting, and visible keyboard focus.
- Labelled form fields, marked required fields, and announced form errors and confirmations to screen readers.
- Checked that pages remain usable when zoomed to 400 percent and on narrow screens.
Known limitations
- Payments. Checkout and billing management are provided by Stripe on pages that Stripe hosts. We do not control their accessibility.
- Vendor documents. Our answers link to vendors' own terms, policies, and other documents. Those pages and PDF files are published by the vendors, and we do not control their accessibility.
- Quoted text. We show short excerpts exactly as the vendor wrote them, so a quote may include formatting or wording that is hard to read.
